Sunday, May 14 - Defeats for Sunday XI and Women's side

Pete Elliot took his Sunday 3rd XI over the water to meet Liverpool Superkings in the preliminary round of the Mike Leddy Cup.

Put into bat, only Harry Wright (20) and Prajesh Shukla (32) made much impression on the scorebook as Sefton Park were bowled out for 123.

Despite Mohammad Rafi taking 3-24, Superkings reached the target for the loss of five wickets in the 25th over.

Sefton Park Women's 1st XI hosted Blackpool in the LCF Women's 40 Over League at Croxteth Drive. Anna John (18) and Sarah John (18) top scored as Sefton Park were dismissed for 75. Eleanor Sinker claimed 3-33, but Blackpool won the game with five wickets down in the 16th over.
