Local rivals Liverpool were the visitors to Sefton Park for the First XI game.

Sefton won the toss and asked Liverpool to bat first. A century from former Sefton Park junior Jared Clein (106 not out) was the backbone of their innings of 240 for 7 declared in 57 overs.

The innings featured a stand of 98 for the sixth wicket. Jimmy Dixon finished with 3 for 40 and Paul Horton 2 for 31

Sefton's reply did not begin well with the score on 17 for 2 but a stand of 77 between Paul Horton (45) and Ben Percival steadied the innings. Ben Percival became the fifth wicket down as his 58 enabled him to become the third Sefton batter to pass 500 league runs for the season. Pruthvi Krishnamurthy was out for 23 and with 10 overs left it was left to the youngsters to draw the game. James Stirling finished with 12 not out and Leo Spilsbury 35 not out off 35 balls. Sefton finished on 185 for 6 in 50 overs as the game was drawn.

The Second XI travelled to play league leaders Formby who won the toss and elected to bat.

A 104 opening partnership set them on the way to declare on 233 for 7 in 41 overs.

P Ostler took 4 for 40 and Tom Spilsbury 3 for 83

Opener Andrew Hale scored 66 as Sefton responded well in reply before being dismissed for 201 in the 41st over. Luke Connolly scored 31 and Dave Kelly 28

The Third XI made the journey to Crosby to play Northern's GK XI

Northern won the toss and decided to bat first.

Chris Mitchell took 2 for 40, Ronan Brady 4 for 50 and Robin Brown 3 for 43 to dismiss the home side for 183 in 47.5 overs.

The Fourth XI travelled to play Wallasey's Fourths. Wallasey won the toss and asked Sefton to bat. As Sefton were 12 for 3 that looked a good decision but they recovered to reach 160 with Fisal Malkzi scoring 39, Tom Summers 31 and Ibrahim Ahmed 25.
