Congratulation to the Outlaws captained by Sefton Park's Harry Deveney and containing a number of Sefton players in the squad, who won the Mersey Cup defeating the Warriors in the final

Mersey Cup - Thursday is Finals Day

Thursday is Finals Day in the Mersey Cup

The semi finals start at 11:00 am.

On the upper ground.

The Outlaws play the All Stars

Most of the young Sefton Park players play for the Outlaws.

On the lower ground

The Rapids play the Warriors.

The Final starts at 3.00 pm on the upper ground



Mersey Cup

Tuesday saw a friendly day with the Wellington School leaving after playing the rising stars of Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwe side then defeated the Merseyside select XI in a 40 over game.

Wednesday sees the return to "pink ball" cricket

The Mersey Cup continues to entertain and on Monday we saw last years Bajan Shameel "Salty" Stuart attacking our visitor this year Shakeem Clarke. Tuesday is a day for friendlies and the Cup resumes on Wednesday
